Your server infrastructure is the foundation holding your system together. It contains your business apps, app databases, and active directory services in a primary region backed up daily using Geo-redundant storage (GRS). Designed to provide at least 99.99999999999999% (16 9’s) durability of objects over a given year, it replicates your data to a secondary region hundreds of miles away from the primary region. Your data is accessible even in the case of a complete regional outage or a disaster in which the primary region is not recoverable.
