Remote Meetings and Virtual Conferencing
The first time you hear it, you might think about low-quality images taken by the digital cameras of yesteryear bombarding your inbox – “Zoombombing.” In some ways, you would be right, as there is an abundance of low-quality (broadly) images distributed through the practice of hacking another person or group’s video chat across the popular virtual meeting platform.
So, what’s the solution?
We want to share Microsoft Teams as our selected platform for virtual meetings and remote engagement. Designed to make communication a breeze between co-workers, Teams allows you to sign in with your organization’s email credentials as a Microsoft365 subscriber and immediately begin interacting with peers across your corporate network.
Need to loop a client or prospect into the conversation? No problem! Want to share a presentation? Sounds great! All of the remote engagement tools present in popular platforms, from screen-sharing to meeting recording, are present in Teams and operate within the secured space dedicated to your organization’s data stored within Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructures.
Meetings can be scheduled, both real-time and in advance, with consideration given to shared schedules through the Teams planning assistant. Inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity doesn’t cancel a meeting, either, as both mobile applications and phone dial-in options allow for almost all devices and connections to empower remote productivity.
