Empowering Residents for a Healthier, Happier Life
Live WellNest connects residents to the people, programs, and content that impact their daily wellness.
The Live WellNest can be accessed from an in-room touchscreen device, a tablet, or other personal devices. This allows residents to view their daily activities, schedule appointments, and register for upcoming events. Each resident's home screen can be customized to meet their specific needs.
Residents may use Live WellNest to request maintenance by simply touching a button on the screen or from their personal devices. They can easily see when the request is completed. Transportation requests are also made through the Live WellNest device, keeping communication with residents in one place.
Many residents like to watch or listen to content from the Live WellNest device, such as movies, music, or audiobooks, on the 10-inch screen and high-quality built-in speakers. For larger viewing, content may be cast to a TV monitor in the room, or content may be viewed from any personal device.
Through the Live WellNest solution, residents can easily video call or chat with other residents down the hall or in another building. The video calling and chat feature makes communication with family and friends simple and secure. There is no need to use a separate cell phone or computer to communicate. Live WellNest can have family, friends, and neighbors preprogrammed for one-touch video calls or chats.
With the Timex wearable, residents can track activity including steps, heart rate, sleep, and a 7-day PAI Score based on heart rate. The wearable offers fall detection and emergency SOS features to call a designated phone contact and message the wearer's Guardians. The watch has location tracking with alerts, 4G LTE voice calling with contact controls, and messaging that can be used for notifications of upcoming activities.
For residents of memory care facilities or individuals needing wander management, the wearable may be used for location monitoring and fall detection through the mobile app and web applications.
Bringing Friends & Families Together
For loved ones living alone in another geography, family and friends can easily communicate and support their well-being from afar with features such as video calls, gift purchasing, alerts, and notifications.
For family members or others close to a resident, there is a mobile and web application via ResHub. Only approved users have access with various levels of permissions. The resident's family and resident can control who is part of the community portal.
Through the portal, family members can receive notification-based alerts with updates on their loved ones' daily lives. This is an effective way to see if they are maintaining their daily routine. The mobile or web application makes scheduling a video call or chat with a family member convenient. If nursing staff assistance for a call is needed, scheduling a time is simple through the calendar function.
View photos from recent community events or uploaded by family members to see the community through their eyes. Stay current on community activities through the online newsletter. Use the family portal to schedule on-site visits with family to ensure the time does not conflict with other activities planned or appointments.
Through the family connection portal, the concierge section enables gifts to be purchased and delivered directly to a resident. Sending flowers for Mother's Day, a pedicure, or a sweet treat for a birthday celebration are all efficient through the online concierge. Notifications are sent to confirm the gift order and when the item is delivered or fulfilled.
For residents with the Timex wearable, family members may receive alerts for fall detection via the family portal or look up a resident's location, or message from the portal directly to the watch. A family member's phone number can be used as the wearable's emergency contact for fall detection and SOS button activations from the watch. Other family members can be added to receive notifications when a fall or SOS are detected.
Elevating Quality Care with Live WellNest
Nursing staff want to deliver quality resident care. With Live WellNest, they have a technology-enabled set of tools to communicate and access the resident’s daily activity schedule and electronic health records, all from the bedside of the resident’s room.
The Live WellNest solution allows nursing staff to communicate with each other easily throughout the facility via chat or voice messaging. In case of an emergency, the SOS button on the watch can be activated quickly to request support from other staff members. For non-urgent communication, staff may send voice or chat messages to residents from their watch to the Live WellNest device in a resident's room.
Using the staff mode on the Live WellNest device, nursing staff can see resident health information from the EHR, track time spent with residents, view upcoming activities, such as therapy appointments, assist with facilitating a video call, or prepare an in-person family visit. Staff can easily view resident activity all in one place to determine changes in levels of engagement.
Quality care requires leveraging technology. Nursing staff start their shift with the Timex wearable enabling authentication to access the Live WellNest device in a resident's room. Once fully verified, staff may access health information from the EHR to provide care at the bedside. The Live WellNest solution allows for more efficient access to resident health and activity information, non-urgent requests, and more highly engaged in-room experiences.

Optimize Your Facility with Real-Time Analytics
Providing quality care and managing metrics are important for care facility operations. Live WellNest data and analytics deliver real-time dashboards for individual resident trends and overall community health.
Community event staff can create and manage digital calendars and signage within the Live WellNest system—Canva is built in for beautiful design capabilities. Staff can schedule events and track responses, transportation needs, and other event requirements, all from the StaffHub portal. The ability to review metrics of activity participation and success is invaluable in planning future activities.
The StaffHub dashboard allows nursing staff to review a 360 view of resident activity to evaluate changes in biological, social, and emotional health at the resident level or by facility. Simple and effective dashboards bring all relevant activity by the resident into the dashboard.
Preparing, distributing, and collecting surveys from residents and families is streamlined through the StaffHub, which allows them to customize as needed. The resident census is always current for distribution from the connection to the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Using the StaffHub, community leaders can view nursing staff metrics for care time provided to residents. In addition, for multi-facility communities, dashboards report and compare all facilities to evaluate performance metrics.
