Stacey Yoakum is the Vice President at Think Anew, whereas a member of the executive team, Stacey ensures that operations are in alignment with Think Anew’s core values. She is directly involved in oversight of the Project Management, Sales, Data Services, Quality Assurance, and Telecom departments.
Stacey has over 20 years of IT experience in long-term care, working for private and public companies. During her time in the industry, she has had the opportunity to work on several initiatives central to the digital transformation within LTC.
She was a critical, and sole, resource leading to EHR vendor certification with Medicare and Medicaid agencies during the transition from UB92 to UB04. Her work entailed output testing, platform testing, vendor management, change management, coding, and EHR certifications in over a dozen states.
Stacey also participated in an internal team that led a seamless and successful transition from ICD9 to ICD10 in 2014. She has also assisted in the EHR system configuration and implementation for Point of Care charting in multiple system platforms.
She was honored as Employee of the Year for a company with over 4000 employees for her work in creating reporting surrounding operational key measures. Those reports resulted in an annualized savings of over $100,000 for the company. While at Think Anew, Stacey has been a part of a successful sales team, obtained several HIPAA certifications, and created data conversion and data analytics products and services.
Stacey graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Information Systems. In her spare time, Stacey enjoys cooking, reading, and being a mother to her son Jackson, who will attend the University of Tennessee Knoxville starting in Fall 2020.
